John D. Scala, MD
Dr. Scala comes to Lone Tree with 12 years experience in pediatric and adult medicine. For the past 10 years, he had been a solo, self-employed rural physician, initially in Utah, and for the past 7 years in Illinois. He enjoys taking care of entire families - infants, children, adults, and seniors. His special interests in pediatrics include infants in the first year of life, and children with asthma. For adults, he is interested in diabetes, high blood pressure, heart failure, and heart attack prevention.

Catherine Mennick, NP

Catherine recieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Northern Colorado. She has worked as a R.N. in pediatrics including neonatal intensive care and developing a program for medically fragile children. She obtained her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Catherine has worked as a nurse practitioner for the past 10 years in private family practice and emergency room settings providing care for adults and children. Family Practice compliments Cathrine's philosophy and commitment to provide holistsic care to the family. She believes in incorporating the physical, psychological, cultural, and and social aspects of health in the care she provides to her patients. Catherine has lived in the Denver Tech Center area for many years while raising her two young adult children.
